BBB President Apologizes

Better Business Bureau Plans to Reform their Ratings

After all the stir-up of controversy from the BBB being interviewed about their grading system with ABC News, the Better Business Bureau has announced that they will be working on a better way of improving their rating system. The national President of the BBB, Steve Cox, even apologized for their “errors” in the system and wants businesses and consumers to know that they are on a course to straighten their ratings out.

The BBB met on Tuesday, December 28th, 2010 to discuss their reforms to the system. Since the meeting on Tuesday, the Better Business Bureau states that they are “considering a critical course of action which requires further work and research before we announce our concrete next steps.” In other words, we met, talked about it, didn’t really figure anything out and we are going to deal with it later.
